Golf Tips from the Pro

How many of you were never properly fitted and simply bought your clubs off the rack, possibly from a sporting goods store, or maybe even off the internet. Until you play with fitted clubs you may never know how much they can help. Are you a slow swinger with stiff shafts? Do you have arthritic fingers and regular size grips? Are you tall and can’t stay in your posture throughout swing? Is your swing upright and all your divots are very toe deep? Clubs can be made or altered to match any body type or swing characteristic, and in most cases it doesn’t cost extra to have them fitted. If you are like most of my students, you are mumbling to yourself that you are not good enough to play fitted clubs. I would argue, because you don’t play fitted clubs you don’t have a chance to be very good. Next time you are serious about buying clubs, get fitted by a PGA Professional, it’s an easy way to take strokes off your game.
