Do Your Clubs Need New Grips?
December 1, 2009
It's safe to say that through the course of a golf season, I touch a lot of clubs, I guess it's in my job description. In golf, we use three of our five senses and your touch sense is very important. It is not uncommon, when I touch your clubs to determine you care little for the sensation of your hands touching the instrument (club). Your grips are slick, oily, some even crisping off from baking in the trunk of your car. I won't name names. Do yourself a favor this winter, stop by the golf shop, hand me your clubs are get some new grips put on. For less than $50 you can have a set that feels like new again, and who knows, it may be all it takes to play better golf.
